ewww! that seat felt so wide. im buying a 1990 gs500 is my seat gonna be that wide? or am i just really unflexible? just curious... i hopefully get my gs in 1 week woot!

isn't a wide seat good?

anyway, i think the older GSs have smaller seats

older gs's deffinately have narrower seats.  however, i don't know about anyone else here, but i prefer a wider seat.  i wish my 02 had a wider seat on it.  it feels a little dirt-bikey to me being so narrow.

Yes the older seat was pretty narrow, something like only 12 or so inches at its widest.  The new seat/tail is probably the biggest single improvement they have made to the GS. Its at least as good as the old gel seat.

lol for your guys info pprider stands for PigPen.. this is my nickname to few of my close friends and didnt realize till after i made it how it sounded:P
