Pending on the year there are different cams out there... not all are the same grind...  But you can use this as a ref  stoke mine intake  .345  Valve lift  dur at .050  is 236  exhaust is .327 dur .050
I moved to . 386  dur at .050 is 248 intake exhaust  is  .381 dur  at .050 240 custom grind from Web cams...  also if your looking for some carbs let me know  there is a company out here in cali that will set up carbs for you  size 35, 37, or ,39 but it isnt cheap..  I wanted 37s but they were out of  the 37mm adapters to hook up to stock engine carb cups I went with 39s and have to jet down. Well  hope this helps

Nope I have a set of 34mm CRs already.

I'm pondering cutting up an old stock exhaust to build a set of custom experimental headers with an idea I got from Bell's 4-stroke Performance Tuning book.

If stock exhaust BDC openning is at .50 and I'm targetting 8K rpm, his little chart says the primaries should only be 21.5".
Stock primary length is 32" (ie: peak power at 5,500 rpm) which leads me to wonder if the tuned len. of the stock pipe is covering up a big hole in the mid-range...
