The tire's a 130/90 17....

As to the hand gesture, why not? I only did it when I knew he was taking the pics, too. I have more that I refuse to post!

Why do people flip the camera off? I see it all the time. this isn't a one time incident spazzy. You new what you were doing. I never got the gist of that. Explain, because this doesn't register in the Ultimo of coolness meter at all. Don't worry how I know this, I just do. Oh, and good pics, the GS looks like a healthy little boy.

The wrong tire was shipped, but fit and the price was right.

As to the bike, love it. The forum............ I shall keep that open for discussion.

Looks pretty neat, kinda like a dragster, does it handle ok? Makes the rim look like an 18. Cherish your little GS, and the forum? Well the forum can be serendipity in itself...sometimes.

Makes the front tire look tiny...    :dunno:  I don't think it looks nifty, and it can't be good for the stability of the bike.

Don't let 'em rile ya spazzy.  I did my longest trip on a 130/90-17 Cheng Shin Hi-Max.  Not only that, but the tire lasted the longest of any rear tire so far.

OK, so I prefer the feel of the BT45H.  But I wouldn't sneeze at a gift Hi-Max!

Yes more people finally agreeing with me... Cheng shaZam! ... lovely... yes its made out of hard plastic... but lasts for ever and is great on wet roads...
Cool.

I've "agreed with you" on this for a couple years now, Srinath.   :)  (See my post in the Can someone tell me something about this tire? CS HI-MAX thread.) I finally wore that tire out back in ... 2001?  Early 2002 at the latest.

While searching I was reminded that davipu had a 130/90-17 Hi-Max mounted when he rode ALL THE WAY across the country and back several weeks ago.  Does anyone need a better recommendation than that?  ;)

I'm not saying I'd mount another one "on purpose", but then again I might.  They're great for long hauls, and I'm planning a 6K+ trip for next year.  The price is certainly right!  :thumb:

The tire's a Maxis Promax... Not the greatest quality but good for the price!

Wouldn't put it on anything more powerful than a GS though..... Not very good at high speed.
