Thanks
Damn, those new models look awesome. I wasn't even considering a Kawi as my second bike but I guess I have more to choose from now! :)
I especially like the new look of the ZZR600. I can't wait for the rider reviews to come out on these bikes.
I am in love with the new look of the ZZR600 ... In fact this will be my next bike :) ... or maybe the .... doh here I go again :dunno:
hmm. seriously in need of a fendorectomy and shortened rear turn signals. gorgeous otherwise.
cheers,
will
shaZam!, i've always thought the ZZR-600 looks good...and feels good too, ever sit on one? But, do I need more than the baby bike? Plus, we just bought a Camry...got tired of drivin' that jarrin' ass truck whenever I needed to go somewhere. Sigh, I still love the small and meek GS...and this GStwin forum is the number 1.
C.......
looks EXACTLY like my 02 6R cept its not yellow
I agree .. it does look exactly like the 2002 ZX-6R with some changes (Electronic Instrumentation and 46 mm Cartridge Fork) .. possible more midrange :dunno:
Now to decide between the YZF600R and ZZR600 ;)
Interesting. We've had the Z750 naked here, that Z750 I feel gets hit with the ugly stick. Some people might like it though.
However, the ZZR600 is a completely different beasty - it's exactly the bike I want! I may have to shelve plans to buy a GSXR 750 until this comes out.
Now, if they can just make a proper black version, I'll be in heaven!
That Z750 looks like a warmed over ZX7R that Kawa just ditched like 2 years ago. It does not have the mean look of the Z1000. And Light blue? :dunno:
I really like the overall look and design of the 750. I thought I had my mind made up for my next bike, but this changes things. I will have to wait and see how it is priced, how comfortable it is, etc.
The black naked version of the Z750 should have been brought to the U.S. That powder blue is :(
The Z750 is interesting, but its like a budget bike and shows. The fairing is distinctly TDM looking (good or bad depending on your opinion).
ZZR600 IS the previous generation ZX6R. Interesting that they've brought it back. I've never liked the way the front end & ram air looked. I think if I were interested in one, I would just find a slightly used '01~02 ZX6R and save the money. I wonder how many other people will make thats same conclusion. Will be interesting to see where they price it compared to the F4i and YZF600R.
The new Suzuki Bandit 600 broke cover this week too: (http://www.sport-touring.net/cgi-bin/msgboard/ikonboard.cgi?s=cc15447718ccbef2a93669aea9d74889;act=ST;f=10;t=20801;st=0;&#entry376572)

I'm kind of disapointed, I was hoping for a complete redesign using the '97-'00 GSXR water cooled engines, not a punched out old one...
Dunno about you guys in the US of A, but I've been scanning to find a 01/02 ZX6R, and they are hard to get hold of around here (well, only a few available, not ready yet so haven't seen them), the benefit of the 2005 ZZR 600 should be new bike warranty and colours that are not that puke kawasaki green (sure, the blue is nice, but I've never even seen one advertised!). Hopefully it will be priced better than a current model 600, which will make the next bike purchase of warmed-over technology easier.
However, this forum is dedicated to a essentially 12 year old bike, after all :)

Make that 15+! (1989-2004)
anybody got the specs (HP, torque, wieght, etc) on the 'new' ZZR600 or the 'old' 2001 and down 6R's? I'm curious how it stacks up against the competition (f4i, YZF-600R) :dunno:
On another note, I am totally disappointed with the styling of the Z-750. It would be an awesome bike if that fairing didn't look so horrible.

The new B6 is a Bandit 650 now. :)
