I want to put an aftermarket pipe on my 04 GS500F  but sum1 told me no1 really makes em for the bike and i would end up having to cut and do alot of crap to get the pipe on....does anyone know if this is true? i jus want to put a pipe on that will give my bike a nice roar.  -DJ-

Vance & Hines makes a full exhaust system for our bikes, Cobra offers the "F1" series slip on's as well ( you need to cut your stock exhaust muffler off and fit the slip on to the existing pipe), or you can also fit a multitude of aftermarket slip-on's, but they may require special brackets/welding to make them fit. I personally am looking into getting a SV650 Yoshimura slip on and modifying it to fit the bike. Good luck on your search!
