well im planning on painting my bike this weekend to match the fairing i just got, so is anyone good at designing paint schemes? if so id like to see what you all can come up with, if you have time, and want to. it would be helpful, thank, here is a picture to use as a template.

Oh that is actually very good, but the fairings decas are slightly curved... yours are straight... OK maybe photo shop wont be that great in showing subtle curves... but you can when painting it... and make them curved... especially the ones on the tank. The tail will look curved cos that has that bulge.

Yep, and I wrote it off, charged the company. I need it, I work in web development. Bought the entire adobe creative suite actually, it's great!!!!

HEY ! I've painted in pink b4, but that was on an RC body, (2fast 2furious S2000 w/ the fairy and the bubbles n' stuff.) So I could see it easily on the track. I'd paint my bike pink, but I already get laught at for having it orange=P

You know, I think anyone man enough to ride a hot pink motorcycle is pretty cool.
I'm a closet fan of the Kawasaki Blazing Pearl Orange, personally... but I'm not sure it would suit a GS500.
When I move up to my next bike, which I expect will be fully faired, I'm going to do her up in a paintscheme like one of the MH from Mamoru Nagano's 'Five Star Stories'. Geeky as hell, but I really like the kind of baroque / medival look.
I'm a closet fan of the Kawasaki Blazing Pearl Orange, personally... but I'm not sure it would suit a GS500.
