nothing too spectacular for my first time down but its taught me a lesson about looking through the turn. i was fixated on a stormwater drainage channel with water in it as i was going over it making a left turn and before i knew it i was headed into the curb as i came out of the turn. scraped up the left side a bit but nothing too drastic. had trouble starting her after i picked her up. can anybody tell me why that was? something messed up w/ the fuel mixture b/c the bike was on its side? i've got to keep practicing looking where i'm turning and relying on my peripheral vision to see stuff on the ground.
i feel kinda stupid but i'm proud of myself for getting right back on and taking the same corner again with no problems. practice practice practice
least ya didnt get hurt, probably the trouble starting had to do with excess fuel getting into the system. had same prob when i dropped mine. sure just about everyone has/had :thumb:
knock on wood....ive never dropped mine in my 6 moths of riding it.

thats kinda funny i was thinking about mounting a block of wood on my bike for the bad thoughts that come into my head while riding
I guess I should knock on wood too. I've caught myself fixating every now and then, and a couple of times it nearly sent me off the road. As you said, practice practice practice
I third that statement. I haven't dropped mine ever since I got (about a year ago.) But the GS is my second bike so my drops have been left with my first bike, I think maybe three drops total on that little bike. And I second the to much fuel statement.
edit: oops, knock on wood.
