Don't you just love when you get a new project bike to work on -- and all you have to do to sort the carbs out is to replace the choke slider (metal connection that moves both choke plungers at once..) and adjust the idle screw down to a normal Idle RPM to get it running right??
Oh yeah I also put on new intake boots on the cylinder head ( as the old ones pretty much came apart when I went to take the carbs off. That explains the super high idle when I got it...)
Purrs like a kitten now... Now all I need is a new choke cable....well among a few other little odds and ends-but she's running nice.....
Anyway.... just enjoying a positive...(My head gasket went up on my truck this week...I'll take any positives I can get..)
