I dropped my bike and the right side of my bars are bent. I was thinking about replacing them with Suburban bars but wanted to know from people who have them how they feel. I think I remember Pablo saying they feel more comfortable. I have noticed that when going fast I tend to lie on the tank anyway, but was concerned about too much pressure on the wrists around town, which is where i will be doing most of my riding.
I also found these bars:

But am not sure what superbike bars are. Has anyone tried these? It looks like a nice kit, and they make for the GS
Anyway, and comparisons to stock position would be appreciated. Like, how is it more comfrotable? :dunno:
Thanks for any help
Superbike bars are lightly lower rise than stock, and a bit wider. Good change from stock while still being close to stock.
The kits are for bikes with clip on's... like hard core sportbikes to fit tubular bars ...
Cool.

You can buy superbike bars without the speigler kit. they're real low compared to stock but not flat bars like the drag bars are.
The s-m bars are comfy and low. First time I rode with them my wrists hurt until I realized I was resting on them. You'd need to use your torso and knees (against tank) just a bit to keep from putting all your weight on your wrists. I loved how they transformed the handling of the bike though.
On my first GS I used dirtbike bars. Good Feel. Nice and low and very wide. No need to change on th 89
Dirt bike bars are perfect for any cruiser... If the triple clamp comes about to your chest... dirt bike... Those dominator ones were my favorite. Aluminum and thick wall... cool crap.
The SM's I am sure feel great... they are almost the same shape as my 4 weld...
Cool.

Thanks for the input!
I guess I will go with the suburban bars.
