Ok a few questions about do it your self ignition advancer.
Is there a template someone could send me so all I have to do is cut the holes according to the template? (ericjmense@hotmail.com)
Is there still someone one I can send the rotor plate to so they can just do it for me? And if so how much?
How well does it really work??
Does the rotor plate vibrate loose and need periodic retightening? If so how often? What about locktight compound?
Does this require rejetting or any kind of carburetor tuning? (The carburetor is kind of intimating to me)
I think that is all. Im kind of new to the do it your self thing but I believe I can handle it just fine with some advice.

Do a search for ignition advancer. I think it was Bob Broussard that did the advancers. I had a V&H advancer in mine and it was very noticeable. Coupled with a 15T front sprocket, low end get-up-and-go was greatly inproved. No more stalling when taking off and no more having to slip the clutch and rev it up.
Following the directions on our Mods page should do you fine. Lots of people have used that method and I haven't heard any horror stories.
thanks for the advice. i guess the only question i have before i do this is do the carbs need any adjusting from just advancing the ignition
