I was wondering how many of you guys wear stuff that matches the color of your bike? Such as all yellow and black, or all blue and white or who just wears all black.
Im goin jet black regardless of the color of my bike, black goes with any color, and well yea thats my $0.02
all black as in even black gloves?
Well Since Gs's are considered "Naked" bikes.......is matching them really a Good idea??
(Ok guys here's another opportunity to make some suggestions for The ladies of Gs Twin..) Heheh...
I WEAR THE SAME GEAR ON 5 DIFF BIKES. ALL DIFFERENT COLORS.
Well to be honest, the fact that I have a red bike influenced my red jacket. The new Bandit is blue. I don't think that I'll get a new jacket though, unless I continue loosing weight, then I might need to.
I like to go with what is in season,
example:
in the spring I like the brighter colors, in the fall I usually wear reds and darker purples. the winter is tough, Its very hard to find a jacket that will go with the highlights in my hair. In the summer I try to wear my yellow helmet that matches my thong speedo. But because yellow is so yesterday it puts me in a dilemma everytime
my gs is flat black. i have a blue jacket and suomy bostrom helmet with red gloves, so i guess i dont match.... thats ok ill let everyone else look like a power ranger....
nitros is like a hot girl with STD's, you wanna hit it but are afraid of the consiquences....
Evil Scooby,
I'm going to ride my bike out to Ohio. I'll bring some local sausage(it's La Jo's). We'll grill it up, eat it, and then I'm going to have to slap you around.

Price and safety were my primary concerns, which led me to a closeout joerocket "harddrive" jacket from newenough. I have a red bike and deliberately ordered a color other than red (yellow, the only other color left in that size) to minimize the clown factor on an already clowny (imo) jacket. well, as part of my order, in the section for questions/comments, I mentioned that I have long arms and asked if I should be concerned about my size choice (L). A lady at newenough read the note, put a hold on my order and emailed me that the sleeves would be too short. I ended up ordering an XL in the only color they had...yep, Red. I don't mind it now that I have it. It fits, has a ton of great features, keeps me safe, and the red makes me more visible than if it were all black, which my MSF instructor advised against. ( my mantra at intersections is "they don't see me, they don't see me...."). If I had my druthers, I would've chosen blue, though...

p.s. newenough did a great job with the customer svc., btw. I totally recommend them.
my jacket and gloves are blue white and black (tecnik closeout at newenough.com), for the primary reason that I wanted to be seen easier by the cagers.
My bike is black and grey, so not a match, but since those "alternative lifestyle man eye" guys haven't chased me down and flogged me yet, I guess I'm ok
I have a yellow and black joe rocket reactor mesh/perforated leather jacket and a yellow/silver/black/and orange fulmer shaman helmet that matches my bike. Complimented with black gloves, shoes, and jeans.
I bought my bike to match my jacket.
Although it doesn't match exactly, since my jacket's got BSA patches on the shoulders, not Suzuki.
red gloves
silver helmet
turquoise tank
black fenders
yellow jacket
I have blue and white bike, blue jeans, blue and white jacket, and blue/black gloves. The boots are black. I really like the total styling of the gear and match with the bike. I bought the black mesh jacket first to have some protection until my blue/white arrived.
D.
I couldn't care less about fashion or style, so I wear black pants, black jacket, black boots, black gloves (with light brown/yellowish palm side) and gray/silver helmet on my red bike...

I bought a red/white/black teknic jacket on closeout that doesn't match the terrible hand painted dark green stylings of my bike (previous owner). I'll repaint it soon, but matching my gear isn't a factor. Black helmet, black gloes, black boots, etc. Lots of reflective tape <Ö–Ö–helps make me feel better about wearing such an inconspicuous color.
Ya you bet i do, but its in my blood. I do airbrushing so the bike is custom painted, helmet to match and my jacket i took off all of the factory logos stitched on and put my logo with colors to match the bike. :)
I bought the only jacket in brockton cycle's Fieldsheer bargain bin that I liked that was in my size, and it was red. My bike is red with pink squiggles on it. I actually would rather that they not match - I'm not into the whole matching thing - but it just worked out that way.
My gloves are black, my helmet is silver (it's DHs old one, he didn't like it so me and my big head inherited it) and I wear jeans and brown leather hiking boots when I ride. If I buy riding pants they'll probably be blue or black.
I like the red jacket for visibility, yellow would've been even better but they didn't have it in my size.
Heck if the different body parts of the bike match its a miracle.
Gear... heck no, it doesn't even match other gear... helmets, gloves jackets summer and winter all mismatch, pants ok they are black, and match the black in the jackets which are both black and yellow ...
Shoes... forget it...
Cool.
Srinath.
Yellow 04 GS500F, HJC yellow and grey helmet, Joe Rocket Suzuki Corona Jacket loaded with yellow, yellow gloves, jeans or black leather riding pants. I would have to say that I match.
my bike matches my bathroom and my new set of sheets. does that count?
Do you roll your bike inside your house alot?
I find it too difficult to find matchig purple gloves, helmet and jacket, but I understand full-suit leathers are available, but nothing screams 'flamer' anymore than that and a purple bike (light purple; you dark purple owners are lucky IMO).
I'm currently ridin' a white helmet, for safety, and a blue jacket, because red is the color of hate and I don't want all the cagers hatin' on me (I used to get alot of that when I used to ride in all red)(this is also why, if you're in advertising, that too much red is bad).
It's amazing how color affects how other people drive around you or yourself. I have noticed that when I drove my white pickup, I had a superiority complex; and I could tell, by the driving patterns of other people who drove white vehicles, similar behavior.
Evil scooby - your little movie makes the page take 100 times as long to load!
My GS is blue (the nice "older" deep gloss blue. I think the new 2004 blue is not as nice. It's not very glossy, it's not a deep blue and I also think the brand "SUZUKI" across the petrol tank looks better than just a letter "S") Even my local dealer agrees!
I wear a blue jacket, blue gloves, a Shoei helmet with blue in the design and although my boots aren't blue, they are made by Rayven, which is the same brand as my jacket, gloves and waterproof over-trousers, so all in all, eveything matches and I look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought the cheapest gear that fit and had the safety features I want.
I have black boots, grey leathers with red piping, a silver helmet, black gloves, and for summer, a silver armored mesh jacket and black mesh pants. It matches the black/silver GS... well... kinda... er, not really.
blue and black firstgear jacket..blue, black, white HJC helmet with blue sheild, blue black and silver joe rocket gloves....gunna buy a blue GS500F on tuesday to match
