So somewhere in the process of replacing my handlebars (taking off and reinstalling switchgear on both sides, etc), I managed to somehow screw up my throttle. It dosn't return right, IE it doesn't spring back when twisted. I tried playing with the adjustment screws on the throttle cables near the switchgear on the handlebar, with no results. Is there a way to adjust the cable from the engine side? :dunno:
I'm too lazy to check my Clymer or do a Search on the forum at the moment. :roll:
My bet would be that the edge of your right grip is hanging up on you bar end or bar rnd mirror as the case may be. That has happened to me each time I removed the switchgear on both my bikes.
Good call! That's exactly what was happening. Man i really should have known that, maybe getting high then working on the scoot ain't such a good idea afterall. :(

No problem, it stumped me for a while the first time. Sucks if it happened in traffic, glad you got it worked out while still in the driveway.

It also happened when the shop replaced my handlebar after I hit that cow. It stumped
me for a while too, but I eventually turned the phenomenon to my advantage by creating the
Throttle Retainer. :thumb:
