Title: Accessories (Riding bags, windshields, etc.)
Post by: jamesmcb on September 20, 2004, 11:21:48 AM
I am looking for some riding bags, a windshield, and a few other accessories for my 2000 GS.  Anyone know of a good website that sells parts?  I plan on taking it on long trips so I am really trying to find some decent size bags for it....Saddle Bags look to Harley-like, i'm thinking maybe a bag that straps on behind me on the seat or one that straps on above the gastank.  Any Ideas.   But since saddlebags usually hold the most, if you know of any good saddlebags list them as well....  Any input is appreciated and when you list please include a price they usually run for.  Thanks!!

I strongly recommend Nelson Rigg products.  I have owned 4 different items from NR and all have been tough as nails, beefy zippers, good mounting systems, thoughtfull design.  I have owned or currently own the MG950 magnetic bag, the SP903(?) tank bag, the expandable tail bag and their sport saddle bags.... all good items.

www.gforcecycles.com has SMOKIN' deals on NR stuff.  I have bought from them a few times without problems.  I would say look around, but buy from them if you decide on any of the Nelson Rigg products they sell.

I had a Chase Harper magnetic tank bag.  Loved it.  It didn't move at all.  Ever.
