Sorry for the lousy light; it's been, er, raining. :(
I am really wanting to do something about the dang turn signals on the GS. I don't like them. I saw a maroon GS at the dealer when I got the Savage; it had what looked like the Buell signals, and they were much less ungainly.

Two pretty babies playing together  . I'm jealous and happy for you...love them real good now ya hear? Love the GS, the forum...and the Savage too.
C.......
They really are completely different bikes, so I don't feel like I have to choose between them... the Savage is better in the rain and better for toolin' around when I have to start and stop a lot. It sounds more obnoxious (in a good way!) and is easier on the service. The GS revs better, tucks and leans better, gets better mileage, and is more fun for longer trips with more open road.
Three words..."Tires", "Fender Chop".
Other than that, nice bikes.
What year is the savage?

Yes, those are on my list, along with the signals - when I have time. I need to get the other seat in the Miata first! :(
The Savage is a 2003.
Buell T/S's sure are nice...Plus, they are brighter than the stockers so you are safer and better looking, all for around 30 bucks at the H/D dealer!!

Something else you can do is cut that tail light down. Pull off the lense, flip it over, cut 2" off it, cut the ref;ectors inside down and bingo, flush tailight that fits the lines of the rear.
