Title: grrrr
Post by: Rweimer on September 30, 2004, 05:18:04 AM
Now i am somewhat preturbed.

I bought a right replacement cowling.  It is the fairing on the right side, below the full front fairing, on the gs500f.

it is the correct part, and the correct color....

they didn't include the stickers!

i called in, he said, well that is irregular...researched it....on top of the $160 for the fairing, he wanted to charge another 105 for a pack of stickers...

im left with few alternatives,

if i can pull the existing stickers off of the old fairing and reattach them, i should be no worse for wear..

any suggestions?

i was thinking of just covering my bike with unamerican stickers...

such as "do i look like a mother***** role model?, or "life's a bi**** and then you die.)_

ha, just for comic relief, of course.

I wouldn't waste $105 on a pack of stickers. That is just a ripoff. You can try to take the others off, but I would probably just find some that you like and decorate it how you see fit.

Maybe a graphics arts shop can print you one up for cheap.  My bro-in-law printed stickers for his car when he had graphics art class in college.

Good luck

Give Ron Ayers a call.  They may be able to get you a good price on the stickers.  No plastics are listed on the site but I think its worth a shot to call and ask
