Sorry, it was just a major downer to read about other people riding when I couldn't do it myself, so I didn't check in for a while.
The insurance of the woman who hit me said they'd reimburse the value of my gear; I bought a full set anyway, but I'll push for it all to be funded. The Savage is at Aurora Suzuki; the details need to be hashed out, but the parts guy said it's looking like a total. I was pinned on my birthday, Sep. 30, and a week later got the cast off; the therapist gave me flexibility exercises, and told me to let pain be my guide in deciding what to do. So yesterday and this morning, I ran a few errands on my GS, and my finger seems fine. I'm being very gentle with it, though!
Man, I miss riding.
Anyone want to go bowling? I'll bring the pins...

The last of my gear arrived last night, prompting the ride. :)

....soon you'll be able to predict the weather as well as us old folks! Take care. Glad to see you are back on the bike.

Yep... especially since it was raining. :( But I got back into the swing of things after riding around a bit.

Glad to hear that you are back riding. The accident may cause you to look at the cagers in a totally diffrent light from now on. 8)
