OK, so I decided to come home from college this past weekend, and see my parents and all that stuff. While I was there I was going to install my new yosh pipe and change the oil to get it semi prepped for storage.
Well that went all good, and smoothly, changed oil, and put the pipe on, was already jetted by the shop for my pod filter/exhaust. SOUNDED GREAT.
Well the bike had been making some clanking noises, but it had done this in the past and didn't think to much of it. I thought it was noisy valves, and I was going to tear into that this winter.
Well sunday I was going shopping with my mom before I came back. On my way to walmart the bike began to clank really bad, so I'm like shaZam!. Fine! I come out of the store to go home and it had gone away. I stopped off at my old High School to watch the marching band rehearse. When I left there the bike was clankin again. I drove down the road, and got to the stoplight, it was red so I decided to turn and make a u turn down the block cause the light takes forever. Well I made the u-turn and stopped at the stop sign, and the bike make a horrendus clank and it shook the bike, I'm like WHAT THE f%$k? at this point. After the clank, the bike was quite, and seemed to run amazingly, ran smooth, sounded smooth, so I thought something was up so I took it down the 2 lane road near our house to check it out. as I'm going down the road, i see white smoke behind me and I'm like oh shaZam!! so I pull off into a parking lot on the next street. Kill the bike and look down, the whole rear of the bike is covered in oil. It was everywhere from the ign cover back.
So I whip out my phone and call my dad and tell him to bring some rope, and the truck cause my bike is DEAD.
While waiting for him, I'm looking around and I see that I cracked the block of the engine on the right side, from the edge to the oil filter.
I have no idea what happened. its almost like I threw a rod, but the bike arn so good after this happened. So now I have a dead gs and no clue as to what happened.
So I'm in the process of finding an engine. I'm so upset about the whole situation, but atleast I didn't take a spill on the bike because of all the oil, and thank god it wasn't my car. So the bike is now sitting in my garage, under a cover, waiting for a transplant, and some tlc.
I just wanted to share the highlights of my sunday afternoon.
If anyone knows of any engines for sale, please let me know. I'll be interested. And after the new one is in, I will be ripping down the old one to see what the hell happened.

That auction isn't specifically for the engine. The auction itself looks like just his advertisement to part out the bike (Against Ebay rules I think). I'd bid on it.... maybe you can force his hand since the titile says kart motor....
I mean $1.00 flat rate shipping....?

it sounds like you just killed the top end of the motor...It might be cheaper to get the "top" end rebuilt than going w/ a new motor....
