Title: Question about handlebars.
Post by: skrap1r0n on October 13, 2004, 07:58:20 AM
I have a '91 GS500E. I was lookign through some of the images on the site and I am curious as to what type of handlebar this is (http://www.gstwin.com/albums/member_bikes/adr.jpg)?

My bike has a single piece handlebar.

is it possible to get aftermarket clip ons? I am planning to put the Aluizio fairing on the bike, and I figured they would look better?

If I'm not mistaken (and I often am) the Aluizio kit comes with clip-ons.

That would be correct, the Brazilian kit comes with clip ons. Clip ons are available aftermarket. Expensive though, around $150.

Yup same here. I got that style of clip on bars on my '94 500E in the UK.

Perhaps you could try looking for a set in a uk based online bike breakers?
I imagine you could arrange for delivery.
