Title: Tool Kit Question
Post by: jersiboi on October 14, 2004, 03:57:46 PM
The '90 GS I bought didn't have a tool kit and I'm looking to put one together.  Can anyone list the tools in the kit?  Or point me to where I might buy one?

A couple of members have pictures, I am sure they will be along. I am sure you can get one from a U.S. supplier, but if not these people stock the exact same kit that Suzuki supply.

See the thread tool kit and owner's manual wanted (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10832).

It contains links to pictures and sources.

I tried the Buster site and couldn't find the tool kit.

Also, the post Kerry linked to doesn't exist.

I searched through some other threads and couldn't find any site that had the toolkit. Does anyone know where (other than a dealer) I can get one?

If $28.81 sounds like a reasonable price, thenMrCycles link on my Parts Fiches (http://www.bbburma.net/Documents/GS500_Parts_Fiche_1.html) page.

* Choose "Rear Fender" from the drop-down list.

* For the years I checked ('91, '99, '01) the toolkit was item #10[/url][/list:u]Good Luck!

I got one for $9 off Ebay. Just keep an eye out, they pop up occasionly.

The only unique thing in there is the shock tool, I think.

The shock tool will be sold separately if you buy it from one of the parts suppliers.
