Title: srinath bars
Post by: indestructibleman on October 16, 2004, 06:05:38 PM
installed my handlebars from srinath today.  i had to sand the inside of the choke switch heavily to make it fit.  ended up sanding the right end of the bar and using a little grease to make the throttle not stick.
anyway, it looks great.  feels great too.  haven't taken it on any twisty roads or over 60 with the new bars, but just tooling around town i really like the position.
wish i had a digital camera so i could take some pics.

cheers,
will

you're a bit behind the times. I think he recently posted about another run of the bars but if not you're SOL on that front. he stopped making them a while ago. You can search for "Srinath Bars" and probably find a pic or several. Only option I know of is the Suburban-Machinery.com type 2 bars that they are knock-off's of; pricy.
