Title: Nat'l Cycle Deflector Screen hardware
Post by: indestructibleman on October 17, 2004, 05:27:22 PM
ok.  i thought i didn't have any mounting hardware for my national cycle deflector screen.  well, i just found a bag containing most of the hardware.

i'm still missing u-clamps though:

i don't see any way to order replacement parts from National Cycle, but i'm thinking this should be a fairly simple part to make.

does anybody have one of these shields?  if so could you take a pic of the clamp, or at least tell me whether it's really just a U or actually a C shape?  i'd also appreciate if someone could measure the thickness.

i can cut an drill stuff no problem, however, if the metal is thick, i've no way to bend it.

cheers,
will
