Well thats it for now. Im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited :). Hopefully it stops raining here in Cali. I left work today in my truck at lunch to go home and get my bike once it stopped raining. Rode to school and rode it from 8:30 pm to about 10 pm. And all day sunday. Im having a blast!!!
Thanks everyone for all the input and believe me I will post pictures as soon as i can get a digi cam. The pics posted above are of the actual bike, but they were taken at Aplitz's house before i bought the bike. Saturday i drove to Carson City nevada to pick it up from his house. Real nice guy to do business with, and he has a SIIICK TL1000. I would love to do a ride with that guy in his area, hes got some sick roads around there!! Anyways, im done rambling cause im excited, i finally got a chance to post this after having the bike for 3 days. lol. Night all!!
congratulations D!
And its already been modded...whats left for you then? Some more imaginative stuff for sure...or just ride the hell out of it. You've got some damn good roads around here too.
Dan-
Did you see my post about you? Its dropped down a little since nobody replied, its called New GS. Again, it was great to meet you and Tony, take care of my baby. Anytime you want to come for a ride, I'll meet you halfway and you can crash at my new house for a few days while we whip all the local twisties into submission. Talk to you later.
Aaron
Already got some ideas spinnin in my little head Pablo, im thinkin about sellin the CFM rearsets in lue of the set of CBR's i have, or vice versa. I've got alot of ideas goin, but for now im just going to enjoy it. Doin the side reflector mod tomorrow, and ive got to order new turn signals and chop the fender up higher. ALso i have to get my GSXR shock re-charged before i can install. Also i need new fork seals and progressive springs, so i have my work cut out for me :). Thanks again!
That's one lovely bike! Congrats.

:thumb: Sure you can! You can link directly into any image pretty much...all you have to do is right click on the image and get the image location.
Example, from your pics, I got this one:

Oh yeah, and it looks great! :)
You can see it because it's in your cache; that site doesn't allow images to be hosted offsite.
bump for the daytime readers to see :) :) im so excited!
DUUUUDE!
SWEEEEET!
Don't mod it any more - it's perfect now. Save your money for the big bore vtwin or I4 you'll want in a year or two. You got a great bike!
sweet looking bike... I've got one very similar. Do the SV headlight mod like on Pablos page. Its probably my favorite appearence mod, and it only cost 25 bucks!
hmm ill have to look into it stephen. The first thing on my list is to finish the fender with buel lights. Then find something to do about the headlight. I kind of want levs dual setup, but ill figure something out.
I did the exact same thing to my 2001 as on pablos page with the finder chop. I made a metal bracket for my license and it looks great. I was alittle nervous about dremmelling the heck out of it, but it came out great. You can;t tell its not factory. BTW I also have the chin fairing on my bike. Good luck with your mods:thumb:
One day I might go with a duel light setup too, post pics when you get done with yours.
If you want to sell the woodcraft pegs let me know. I might be intersested
Stephen:
Do you happen to have a pic of your bike with the fairing? Im debating about putting it on or not, id like to see one with it. Thanks!
And I still havent decided about the woodcraft pegs, ill let you know.

http://www.gstwin.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=member_bikes&id=asgHere's my bike on the WOF page. If you want any other angles, just PM me your email and I'll send some more tonight or in the morning (their at home, I'm at work). I have the front fairing on in the pic but it comes and goes... I'll put it on for a while, and then take it off for a month or two. I have plenty of photos at home of the chin fairing with the naked front.
