Title: rev'n then is dosn't die..
Post by: Jace009 on October 24, 2004, 04:56:39 PM
I just bought a 91' model that I assume has been sitting in storage for a while because it has only 6k miles. When I hauled it back here to the NorthEast I let it run out side for a considerable time w/o the choke and proceded to rev it a little bit (under 4k). It was very sharp except after you let the throttle go it still hovers up there for 3-4 seconds. This is longer than what I remember about my other GS that I had.

Could the throttle cable be a bit to tight? I already notice that I have to adjust it because hard left turn pulls the cabel.

I'm going to rejet it this winter any ways but could an adjustment w/ the mixture screw solve this?

Yes, mix screw open in 1/4 turn increments. Also put new gas in it...
Cool.
