You'll have a hard time finding info specifically on the '03 model year.  But the rear sprocket has been the same throughout the production run.  (See my GS500 Chains & Sprockets (http://www.bbburma.net/Documents/GS500_Chains&Sprockets.txt) list.)

I didn't reply earlier because I have no idea about the part number you mentioned.  :dunno:

If you want to check Suzuki part numbers, try the parts fiche at Ron Ayers (http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/getyear.cfm?groupid=2930&man=su).

i'm referring to this...I need a rear sprocket pretty soon...so hopefully this will fit...

That eBay sprocket looks fine.  The only thing I would do is double-check that your current rear sprocket has 5 bolt holes instead of some other number.  (You never know!  :dunno: )

it's made in taiwan...should i trust it?...the brand is called Pro Series

If peace of mind is important, order a "name brand" unit.  You could almost have it installed before the eBay auction ends!
