Post by: Jace009 on October 30, 2004, 12:43:22 PM
I'm going to install the lunch box air filter onto my stock GS500E this winter. Reading the rejetting matrix I was just wondering what the "note p" means...I asume perfect but then why is it listed as "K&Np" filter? and then another K&Ns filter? <<I asumed this is the stock drop in oval filter...anyways ya was I right?? geez 125mains made a big difference 147.5 are going to RIP 8)  8)

i think it stand for pod as in you are getting the large single K&N pod vs. the two smaller individual pods.

150 for lunch box.. you have a pipe right ... without pipe its hard to get it right... no one has done it and posted the setup...slip on or full pipe... but pipe none the less.
Cool.

"K&N(p)" - K&N pod filter as opposed to the K&N replacement used inthe stock airbox.

A "p" in the Note field means perfect jetting
