Title: fork boots for GS500E?
Post by: geekonabike on November 04, 2004, 08:49:18 PM
I'm thinking about putting some accordian-style fork protectors on my '98.  I'm wonering if they are available, and if they are even a good idea.  I guess some folks think they look too retro, but I thought they might keep the forks clean and avoid nicks and pits.  Thanks.  --Mike D.

Would you consider fork protectors similar to the ones that come stock on the '01+ models?

Check out the Triumph units that scratch found and fitted in this post (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=76468#76468).  You'll find the part number two posts above that one.

Thanks.  I saw another thread but somehow that pic looks better.  I didn't realize the '01+ models had something.

Thanks again,
