Title: Need a steering stem dimension

If someone has a steering stem off of the bike, I need an accurate measurement from the top of the lower bearing to the bottom of the upper bearing.

Looks like i am going to have to pull my front end to get the dimensions.....

......oh well, at least I can take some pics when it is off.

how accurate to you want it?
will a ruler be fine?

I need it pretty accurate. Down to 0.5mm at least.
