That was the same year I learned to drive. Up in the woods in a Ford F600 with a 20 foot dump bed stacked full of firewood and my best friend working the pedals.
Good times..goodtimes.
Not too old. I've been riding 2 years, but still learning how
23 years young here...riding since July of this year, 300+ miles. Sadly the carbs have been sick and time is not my friend, so I had to end the season early. Here's to a short winter.
PHYSICAL AGE: 22 MENTAL AGE: 11 I've been riding around a year and a half with somewhere over 10k saddle time. It would be more if the damn rain would stop down here in the South. :x

I'm 29 years old and have been riding for just over a year now. Talk about a late bloomer.
From the time I was little I knew I would buy my own bike someday (dirt, street, it didn't matter). My Dad's been riding motorcycles for just about all of his life (50+ years), so riding (and racing?) was in my blood. I've yet to do any kind of racing, but as soon as I get a few TrackDays (http://www.lonestartrackdays.com/html/index2.html) under my belt I would like to try my hand at CMRA racing (http://www.cmraracing.com/index.htm).
Click here & scroll 1/2 way down (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7143&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20) to find my complete list of bikes I've ridden. Ive straddled an occasional dirt bike when I was 15 and got my first taste of street riding on my Dad's Yamaha Virago 750 while in college (w/o driver's license  ), but it wasn't until August '03 that I purchased my first bike, a '96 GS500. I've been commuting on it every chance I get, that is whenever its not being repaired on :x
Other than some recreational roadracing
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/Flash_gm/CMRAracing.bmp)
I would luv to try some
Supermoto (motorcycle version of Rally racing),
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/Flash_gm/Supermoto.bmp)
some desert racing out in Nevada or California,
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/Flash_gm/BajaDesertRacing.bmp)
or the ultimate Paris-Dakar Rally.

I'm a begginer by GSJack's standards, 59 in Feb, first bike in summer of '63 rode a few short years then a loooooooong break until suddenly inSeptember 2001 I fancied a bike and started over again with a new Honda GS125, changed to the GS in June 03 after getting full license back in December 02.
To this day I have no idea what triggered the impulse to get a bike again but I'm real glad I did, that had a trigger affect on co-workers and a couple of them have come back, born-again bikers plus one forty-something started afresh.
im 20... rode dirtbikes from 12 until about 17.. had my gs... a month? two maybe? 300 miles from me lol.... darn rain... darn goats syndrome.... while I was fixing it we had BEAUTIFUL weather, and now that its fixed it rains like hell... figures...
20, got my GS two months ago and been riding ever since, but school keeps getting in the way of me putting on miles - only 700 for now.
20, been riding for 2 years and have gotten around 5,000 miles on the clock. Right now Im goin through my first full GS rebuild.
Born in 77, do the math
riding 4 seasons.
29years old, going on 40. Riding for a year. 5k miles logged. Almost all on my buddy Gus.
44yo, riding since 1975. Have owned 20 motorcycles in that time, have only been without one for one year (1988). Have lost count of the miles but probably in excess of 500,000.

Just turned 31... Rode a Kawasaki 750 LTD for a few years back in/after high school and sold it after joining the Army... Ended up with an "antibike" wife and quit riding for many years. I bought the new 500f the week after my divorce and love it!
