this is by far the most difference i felt in my bike... bike idles better, transmission switches like butter... i guess nobody really did any oil change before me... when the oil came out... it was all thick and stuff... it's even helping my idle problem too... haha
same for me. done my first oil change about 3 months ago (2k4 model), and the thing rode like a champ. yesterday though, it got it's second oil change (from me) and i noticed over the course of a 90 mile ride that the transmission was a little stiff. though MUCH more stiff at a stop light. sometimes at a stop light i'll put the thing in neutral. 40 miles into the ride i stopped by the harley dealer and when i tried to go from 1st to neutral, it wouldn't 'slip' into neutral when applying upward pressure. i had to literallly force the pedal up, and when i did it would bypass neutral (saw the green light blip) and go straight to second. same thing coming back down...all while in a stopped position. when i start excellerating from a stop light/sign, i don't have to force that pedal.
any thoughts?
The tranny issus seems to be pretty normal for the Gs...
I have the same problems, but you just learn to live with it.
I am thinking about putting in a new clutch in the near future, maybe that will help.
