My GS is for sale, I thought the day would never come. I will be graduating from college in 2005, I just bought a house in the Silicon Valley, and am planning on kids next year. I'll still browse around here because it's one of my favorite sites, I just won't be a GS owner anymore. Maybe down the road. Anyway it's in the FS section.
welcome back...it's been a while...
are you buying a different bike or quiting riding? good luck with everything
we should get together for a ride before u sell your gs im in santa clara also....lafeyette and hope to be exact :)
Hey I was just kinda wondering what happened with you. It has been a while and its good to hear all is well with you. Did you catch the Cycle world show this year in San Mateo? A couple of us went and met up there.
Any plans for a new bike or are you taking a break from riding?
piper, glad to hear things are moving forward nicely for you. Bought a house in Silicon Valley! thats probably one of the few places that MORE expensive than my part of town.... :o good for you!
so what are you going to buy to replace the gs?

I'm actually taking a break. My wife and I are planning on kids, and I made a deal with her that I wouldn't ride for a while during that time. But while I'm not riding I'm going to be driving a pretty sweet 240Z that has a ton on drivetrain work done to it. Won't be as fun as riding, but it'll have to suffice for now. If I were getting a new bike the CBR 600RR would be the flavor of choice. I stopped by the MC show and drooled. Expensive is the word in the Valley, but the prices keep going up! I made 15% on my place before I made the first payment! How is everyone doing?
Right on! Welcome back! That's a pretty sweet ride. If you want, I'll post a link on BayAreaRidersForum.com and link it to your post in the For Sale section here.
240Z's are sweet rides man, so many options with those. It's not Darius's infamous 240 is it? ;) I think a small conversion would be a lot of fun but I hear you can get a lot of power using some other Nissan engines like a turbo SR20DE or the pumped up i6. I'm not sure how those handle but I think they can rail with a little work
Things have been busy with me with school. Other than that, not a whole lot going on. The bike has been great and I think I've settled down quite a bit on it since that group ride. Still not real fast in the mountains but definitely more comfortable
Right on Andy. The Z has a bored .030 L26 straight six with the three carb manifold and 40mm Webers. Crane ignition, Tokiko struts and Energy suspension. It also has a ZX tranny and limited slip diff. Should be fun and can still be added too.
Thanks Scratch, that would be cool!
