Title: order of operations? (exhaust, jets, K&N)
Post by: se7enty7 on November 23, 2004, 07:30:42 AM
I'd prefer to do one at a time...

I bought the lunchbox-style filter, and it's a DJ kit.

I'm assuming jets, air filter, then exhaust..

or jets AND air filter, then exhaust...

OK exhaust first ... cos its the only mod that will let you run the bike with the other 2 staying stock... then other 2 at the same time... and why not all 3 at once ... and add the advancer at the same time...
Cool.

Stock jetting is lean. So adding an exhaust and/or an air filter without re-jetting will only increase the leanness. Best to do it all at once.
