3)"Turn it over" take the engine through a few piston cycles, with a kick-start it's easy simply use the kick and gently but firmly pump it. You can duplicate this effect with bike on centerstand, in gear, rotate the rear wheel and this should do the biz. I would not use the electric starter as it would probably chuck the oil straight back out. In recent winterisation threads WD40 has been recomended as an alternative to the "teaspoon of motor oil" There is a section on this in the owners manual if you have one.

i used Motul semi-syn oil, is there enough acid build up for me to worry?
i would change the oil and the filter
it doesn't cost that much to do
relatively simple to do
and always a good idea on a new motor
i just rebuilt mine and changed the oil after 100 miles
and i will change it again in a few hundred more
as for putting oil in the spark plug hole and turning it over
it means just that
remove the spark plugs and put a few drops in each cylinder and turn the motor over
put the plugs back in don't connect the plug wires and hit the start button to turn the motor
as far as draining the carbs go i am not really sure if you need a screwdriver or not but the valve is next to a little spout that hangs down from the bowl
