Just to nitpick and to make sure that no one else is mislead or misunderstood when speaking about suspension setup; the proper terminology for measuring the suspension with the rider aboard is "Rider Sag" (Rider, get it, no way to be misunderstood there), and then "Static Sag" or "Free Sag" can be used, interchangably, for when measuring the bike by itself. The numbers are correct. For us, we have 4.7 inches of fork travel, and proper "Rider" sag should/would be set at 1.4 to 1.55 inches (or 30-33% of fork travel). Of course, weak springs in front will make you a smoother braker, because if you don't like fork dive, you'll be more ginger on the brake lever at first, instead of grabbing a handfull and feeling like your going to go over the handlebars...
