does that apply to pre 2000 oil filters as well?
I REALLY want purolator oil filters, but cant find them anywhere
Why Purolator?

Their pureone filters are, by far, the best oil filter for cars you can buy. I just like supporting the company.

much more filter media, holes in filter media is finer, internal quality is better. A prime example is my 200sx se-r. The filter HAS to have an anti-drainback valve. Purolator's are FAR and above better than any other, even oem
Fram is the worst. I've cut apart all kinds of different filters, and fram's have plastic/cardboard internals, leaky glue all over from manufacturing process, etc. etc...
motorcycle-wise I dunno if there's a big difference. I mean.. filter media is probably more dense, better filtration. Also I would imagine that the rubber seal is probably better... But that's all speculation
to answer the filter question, all gs500e/f run the same three filters. if you go to the k&n website they have a application chart on there.
