Would need an aftermarket exhaust though to complete the look (IMMO)
You should get a black pipe, black engine, then wear REALLY REALLY REALLY white shiny pants during a night ride. Oh, and a black helmet, gloves, and jacket. So you are a pair of white pants speeding through the hills.
Buy a 2004 F and take fairing stickers off.
That's what this is, look at the tank graphic.
Unfortunately, the black one was not available in the US
OMG that looks sooooo much better.
just kinda scary to ride an all black bike at night. that's the only reason i don't want an all black bike.
specially such a small one. not very visible at night. :dunno:
thanks for the replies everyone
it's actually not stickers on the fairing that were simply removed
i believe that the sitckers had to be blasted off because it's actually clearcoated on
and the entire fairing had to be repainted
unless someone can tell me how to get the stickers on my F off without getting it blasted off
cheers,
joel

its easy..i've done most of the stickers out of my F. Use a hair dryer, usually best during the summer. the adhesive gets gooey enough to peel it off. use goo gone to clean up the adhesive after peeling it off. :thumb:
the ones on the fairing are easy enough....the tank ones were clearcoated over on mine
well that makes stuff so easy for me!
i'll just have to heat up the fairing a lot with a hair dryer (to counter the minus degree weather outside)
and strip it off and get the rest of the res/gunk off with goo-gone!
thanks airbrush!
so all i need to get blasted is the tank and bottom fairing. . .
cheers,
joel
The fairing stickers are not clearcoated, I took mine off last night. Only the ones on the tank are.
tdan553527: coooooool! i'll heat it up tonight with a blow dryer and peel it off tonight! i'll take pictures and let you know how it turns out
cheers,
joel
I would be interested to see some pics of a yellow "f" with the stickers removed. The black bike looks awsome!

I looked at your webpage and it looks like you've already removed the GS500F stickers... the rest should be just as easy, esp. with a hair dryer. Good luck and post pics when you're done :thumb:
