Title: stuck in a rut...
Post by: Jace009 on December 15, 2004, 10:33:20 AM
I have a few cross questions:

1.-Anyone who has owned a GS500E and now has/had insured a GS500F is there a difference in price for the same coverage [assuming you own and don't make payments..]

2.-I have not done any prior reading up on engine parts/carbs :nono: and was wondering if the 04/05' F models use the 01+ carbs? [for rejetting].

3.-I havn't seen the o4/o5 up close yet to know if the Vince and Hines pipe /F1r slip ons will work. I'm not sure where the oil cooler is located at.

I'm asking for a friend *wink wink* who is quite content with a 500cc bike and enjoys his previous experience w/ a GS500E and though that a 500F was a better "value" than jumping up the scale to a 600 in terms of cost reminding that this "friend" feels 45hp is just right for trouble 8)

there will most likely be an increase just because of the fact its a different year.  might also be an increase due to the fairings. all u have to do tho is go to ur agency and get a quote.
