Title: :( no riding for 3 weeks...
Post by: pixelmonkey on December 15, 2004, 11:29:25 PM
finals are over... i'm working on packing my things and making a list of everything i need to bring back from storage from a couple of states, and leaving the GS sit while i do my running.

i'm pulling out saturday, and leaving all 3 bikes parked with their bars locked, and hardened locks in the front disc.

i trust my room mate and have no worries about anything happening to my bikes, but there is always that 1 instance where *hit happens.

the part i'm not going to like is.... leaving all 3 bikes for 3 weeks!
no more riding
on wrenching on the fixxer upper
no tinkering
no cleaning

i havent even left and i'm already missing them.

You can probably park them in my cousin's garage.  She's in Norman.  She probably won't care if it's only for a few weeks.

the 2 with mis-match plastic are being rebuilt, then listed for sale.

the one next to the window i'm planning on keeping...

i would like 1 more project bike that i can turn into something wild!  the reason i'm not doing it to the 1 i'm keeping is the bike is nearly mint... so i dont want to hurt it. the reason i'm not doing it to one of the others is... resale value!!! i dont want to put more time and money into a bike that i'm going to sell.

build them for the road and dependability when selling....
build them for your own pleasure and individuality when money doesnt matter!

it it me or the one with mismatch plastic, the one with black on the rear, and red gas tank. the bike looks actually cool with that combination even though it's mismatch. :thumb:  is that look by accident or by choice??

It looks like the plastic on the first two bikes are switched.  Colorblind?

It looks like you killed something over your gas tank...or was it someone???  :o

You need to take some tips from O.J. on how to hide the evidence better.   ;)

I wish I could talk my girlfriend into keeping the GS in the house... "Honey it's cold out in the garage and it would match the curtains in the dining room"

so it was a COLD ONE!!!

one last ride for the year, and even though it was around 38 out, i was keeping warm!

just 50 miles or so... split with several stops of "happy christmas, merry new year" to a few friends.

i'm ready for the spring semester to be here... work on the 92 to begin, a schedule locked in that gives me a chance to think of something new...

i need this winter break, but i dont want it.
