Hey, how are you doing, GS family?
I will go back to Japan for visiting my family next week. ;) Of course, I will go buncha motorcycle shops over there. I don't think GS isn't a popular bike in Japan (everywhere? lol), so I don't know what I can buy for GS.
Here is the question for you guys.
If you go to Japan, what would you buy for your GS?

some, death ciggs and some ashai, and some good sake. :) I don't think your going to find much over there as far as aftermarket parts. you might be able to find some cheep stock parts, like rear plastics, or ignition advancers.
Please bring me back a RVF400 or a FZR400RR.
Go to the Suzuki Museum in Hamamatsu and pick me up one of these Colleda's:

and one of these Gammas:

Hehehe... I was thinking to get any 400cc bike (I actually looked for ZRX 400 and Ducati when I went back home last time.) and bring it back here before... But now I am thinking a 50cc bike to bring here.
But since my parents don't know I am riding a bike again, it is very hard to buy another bike!

Have a good vacation!
I would look for handguards and a small windshield to replace my 18 year old NationalCycle N2590.
But, since we're looking for Japanese market aftermarket parts for the GS, I would look for Suzuki factory fairings, aftermarket fairings, aftermarket turnsignals, taillights, chainguards, seat cowls, instruments, mirrors, carburetors, airfilters, exhaust pipes, maybe upside-down forks for the GS, swingarm, rims, forkguards, fender-eliminator kits.
rika, have a good vacation and take lots of pics of the parts.. :)
hope to meet you when you get back.
hope you have a great vacation!!!
but now, lets get down to business....
what are the real numbers on the purchase price of a CBR400... and more importatntly, how much to bring it into the states and have it titled / licensed.
itching for a CBR

In the hard to find factory sizes!
I'll buy those four from ya! Make that 5, I'd like a second 262.
Very good idea Davipu!
Edit: and maybe a 252, if they make one.
If I remember right there is a 268 in my valve adjustment kit. Unless someone has used it....
Please throw those parts in the trunk of the Nissan Skyline you're picking up for me.... LOL...
Have fun and do plenty of scouting....
Go to the oppai pub and take some pics for me. I bought alot of stickers when I went there. There was this really sweet helmet but I lacked the 50,000 yen to pay for it.
