I got a busted clutch lever. I had started up my bike and ran inside to lock up and when I came back outside the bike was laying on her left side...somehow it just vibrated off the kick stand...I though it was a mean joke at first but there's no way anyone could have done it and completely disappeared from view....maybe a visit from the Ghost of Christmas Past...I promise I'm going to get rid of that kick stand...nothing but troubles...
BANG BANG :guns: and a Merry Christmas
100 bucks for home depot. 10 for wawa. sweater (i actually like it however) a jacket, a 40 pc tool set, flash drive, money uh thats all i can think of

A sure sign you're no longer allowed to sit at the kids table.
I am not much for receiving gifts but I my gf gave me a bottle of wine along with a wine guide (if you knew how much wine I drink you would understand) and of course a good lay. I got her a pair of diamond ear rings.
I got a broke distributor on my civic last night...does that count?
broke a cap bolt doing a tune-up.
time to remove it and stick it in the drill press
A cement mixer, shower gel and deodorant. Guess I'm to do all that concreting I've been putting off, then wash.
My wife got a busted ankle, a ride in an ambulance, and Christmas in hospital. Oh well, next year will be better. :dunno:
omigosh, what happened? Hope she feels better.
Gas blower, ladder, Death Race 2000 DVD and Santa(me) brought me FASTER & FASTER and a TourMaster Cortech Coaster Air jacket and Apex Air pants(with the help of the parents). :)
I finally got an owners manual for my GS! :) (Very thoughtful of my parents, as my bike was missing it)
Also got crescent wrenches, large metric tap and die set, a tent, 'Bourne Supremecy' and 'Bourne Ultimatum', both in book form, and a Matlab for engineers book
I got a Magnum JAcket from tourmaster and some clothes.
Santa got me a silver and black Joe Rocket Blaster 2 leather jacket,(the summer mesh jacket is gettin way too cold, even for florida) and an Icon Mainframe helmet in the flat black chalkboard finish with silver curves in it, so much nicer than my cheap vega helmet.
Oh and i got a stunt vid too. EXCELLENT!
My girlfriend got me some tourmaster gloves(size L and still too small), socks, undies, poker chips. My sister got me a gold dragon pendant on a gold chain. My folks gave me $500, a toaster oven, the Costco Crescent socket and wrench set, some airplane bottles of Wild Turkey(my favorite), and my mom gave me a tee shirt from Israel that looks like a bunch of Hebrew jibberish but when you turn it upsidedown it says "Go f*ck yourself"....very classy.
I got a few nice things. Friend got me an Icon TiMax jacket, Mom got me a few DVD's, bros got me Rock n' Roll Racing for my Super Nintendo (I luv collecting old systems.)... And I still got to go to my friends house, to do our gifts there. . . .
I got the girl I like (who has a bf.) a Love Hina DVD Collection ($200 bucks for 2 sets.), my mom a Prada jacket and Ferrero Rocher, brothers some clothes, and my dad a bar mixer and the news that his son rides a motorcycle (I figure he can't get mad cuz its xmas.. he did, but he's over it for now.)
So I guess the blown engine and long @$$ duckwalk home, wasn't too bad a feeling anymore.
Anyone wanna cosign for me for Christmas :D

Your turn to take the "Season's Beatings", huh?
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things will go better for you in the New Year....
Rider, I got a broken GS for Xmas as well=P.. heheh.. guess it seems to be a starting trend.
Kerry, thanks for all the help.. I'll be getting that engine, and hopefully be riding by mid january.... (when Ihave time to try and put it in...
Well I got about $140 to put toward the GS restoration and I got my fourth wheel for my car, sounds stupid but I already had 3 that I won off ebay. Also working on getting my ultimate gift, a girlfriend.
On a crappier side of things, my sister's boy friend got one of the worst gifts ever. He slipped on some ice and got knocked out for the night. He ended up laying outside for a good bit of time in below zero temps and suffered severe frost bit to his hands and feet. He is starting to show signs of improvement though, his left hand was thought to be unsalvageable but it started bleeding the other night so they now think it will be able to be saved, he still could lose a few fingers though, which really sucks. He is in intensive care now and will be at the hospitable for around 2 months for additional treatment. Not a good situation.
Peace and have a safe christmas and new year.

The further I get in school, the more it seems that I'm expected to know this program; I however, know next to nothing about it. I really wish I could have taken a basic class in it or something. I feel like I'm a bit behind everyone else in my engineering classes in this respect.

Including me the count is up to three. I suggest all of you just park the damn bike in the garage for a few days until all of this bad Christmas juju passes.
Is it just me?? or did this Christmas just really sucked?? Kinda didn't feel the spirit this yr I guess.. Then again, I had to spend most of Christmas day feeding inmates in jail (I do this for a living.)... anyways, merry xmas all.. hope next yr. would be better
You get out of it what you put in...just like anything. I bet the inmates weren't giving off the best vibes though...might be part of what you are feeling, kind of like a crappy residue, like when you see a really sad movie or something...just sticks with you sometimes...I bet that jail can be a really hard place to be during the holidays for everyone there. :(
heheh.. actually, These guys aren't too bad, and they try to make the best of things. Our 3rd floor (female's ward.), actually had the girls decorate the place w/ the little that they had. Even took one of the Red (possible threat uniforms) jumpsuits, and made a santa suit sitting in a chair. Most of the guys play around more since it's xmas.. I just don't feel it I guess, cuz instead of being at home cookin' for family like I always have in the past, I was at work cookin' for the inmates.. but it's ok I guess..
Quote from: scratchomigosh, what happened? Hope she feels better.
Thanks for the thoughts. Long term she should be fine. Just slipped on the grass while harvesting a lettuce for Christmas lunch (yes, it is summer here :) ). Landed heavily with her foot underneath her. She pushed it back into place before she really realised what had happened. Has to lie in bed for a few days till the swelling goes down then they'll screw and plate it.
Daughter-Clause bought me a bike cover and a bike-specific battery charger plus the now-obligatory tweed flat cap. probably all get a bit of use in the next three months.
lets see...

My big present was a trip to the MotoGP round at Laguna Seca!!! My wife got me two tickets to the race, airfare for two, a car rental reservation, and hotel stay!! She hates to fly and isn't a huge race fan, so she's sending my brother with me. I'm so psyched, I've never been to the West Coast. My wife is incredibly thoughtful and always gives the best gifts, but this was unbelievable. I don't know how she did it.
I also got some tools, nice clothes for my new job, and a few dvds. Great Christmas at our house!

My Christmas was absolutely awsome. First off is things for the bike: Progressives Springs (installed them yesterday and are great) a GSXR750 rear shock (didnt do enough research and found out its to big so now we are lookin at a Katana 600 shock) and some Joe Rcoket Phoenix gloves (these have to be the coolest golves I have ever seen). I got some model motorcycles, a couple sweaters, some new boots (these might be used for the bike time to time. Gone in 60 Seconds and Spiderman 2. Prince of Persia Warrior Within (awsome game but if anybody has this I need help. lol.) New wallet and CD case. New watch. A OCC Calendar. Some Curve cologne. And a new puppy (not really mine, more of a family puppy but still...) Ihad one cool Christmas. If anybody from my family reads this (dad) thank you all. I can't wait till I get a new rear shock and see how good these things do in the twisties. But them Progressives are awsome.
The best gift I got was a 151 piece mechanic's tool set from craftsman.. my GFs dad got it for me. My GF got me a toy bike, a gift card to gamestop, and a new wallet.
I got a case of Christmas beer on the 22nd and a fat lip from my 17 month old trying to wake me up Christmas day with a sippy cup full of milk :thumb: He's got a good arm and great aim.
He wasn't sure if it was a friggin riot as I moaned and grabbed my face, but I was sure that he had intended it to be. I saw stars.
With three lil ones, they get the good stuff and I get to put it together. (As well as enjoy them enjoying the goods)
I did get the new Wheat (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:hrazefrk3gf8) disk with a gift cert from Moms, muy bueno I must say
Let's see. First off, my new daughter got to come home! I got Halo2, Star Wars Battlefront, and Starsky and Hutch for xbox. I got a die grinder and paint gun for my air compressor, I got my gs paid for (I have a great father-in-law), I got a Camaro x-mods rc car with upgrades, a shopvac, a baseball glove, and an x-wing fighter. You'd never know I was 30 years old. I get more toys than anything. What can I say? My wife knows me well :)
