I saw this auction, http://tinyurl.com/6okql and can't tell what year it's for. If it will fit my 92 then I call dibs. Anyone id it for me?

That is not a GS500 tank. Not sure what bike it is for but pretty sure it is fuel injected. Note the bottom view where the outlet is. Typical of a fuel pump connection.

You can also tell because on either year of the GS body style, the tank doesnt have a body line that slopes back down. The GS tank curves down from the top to be flush with the frame. Sorry man.
