Post by: JetSwing on December 29, 2004, 11:29:54 AM
if person(a) sending a pm to person(b) and person(b)'s inbox is full, does the pm get stuck in person(a) outbox??

all the person(b)s out there clear your inboxes!!!  :x

please...

the new message moves out of your outbox (when the other person reads his inbox).

so if its full, the new messages over write your oldest.

To put it another way...

When you send a PM it gets placed in the recipient's Inbox and in your Outbox.

When the recipient checks their Inbox the PM gets moved from your Outbox to your Sentbox.  That's how you can tell when the recipient has at least seen it.  (There is no way to tell whether they have actually opened it, or read it.)

If your Sentbox is already full, then the oldest message in your Sentbox gets dropped to make room for the newest one.
