Yes, I had the same trouble with the cables. You really need to make sure you have routed them properly, otherwise they bind up on the wiring loom. The other problem you can get with that is the bike suddenly revving to 5000 rpm when you turn the bars to the right.
127 and 60 are stock jetting for 2001+ the only thing you changed is the idle/airjet from 17.5 to 22.5.
No Manjul ... regular math doesn't apply in his case ... they got funky ass needles ... make those thinner and its like you went up 3-4 mains ... make it thicker and you go down a few mains ... needless to say mid mains ... no clue ...
Cool.
Srinath.
I was just reading on the Dynojet site that on the 04 and 05 bikes you don't even change the mid, just the pilot and the main, and new needles.
I believe that the popping is normal, all my buddies that have aftermarket pipes on their bikes do it also, I will be installing my new pipe this weekend hopefully, and I bet it's going to do it to.
I also want to jet my 2002 but have the stock exhuast and a 01d00 airfilter which is less restrictive than the 01d7 suzuki put's in,Im wanting to get a Uni bolt straight into the standard airbox filter, any idea's for jet size'do I still go with 'The-Good-Guy" formula #20 bleed air jets,#62.5 Mid's and#137.5 mains, or should I drop down in the sizes :dunno: Of coures who's to say I can get any of that stuff here in Aussie. We have Uni filter distriutors here but they dont import anything for GS 500 :bs: ,as for jets Ive only just sarted checking but they also dont seem too easy to come by :x .
