My boss and his wife are over there on vacation.  Nobody has heard from them.  We thought he would have gotten a message to us somehow, just to let us know they were OK, but nothing...  I'm not sure what area of India they were in.  All I know is that the coast was on their list of stops.

It's awful.  The saddest thing I've ever seen.  So so sad.

i havent heard from my friends who are in India at teh moment.. but i guess they are okay.

My friends place in Besant Nagar (Eliott's Beach) got flooded. Their house is fine, their lower garage got flooded.

I havent heard from some of my friends in tirvanmyur. I guess they are okay. I know our friends place in Tirvanmyur is washed out. They were abotu 100 meters from teh beach.

I heard teh light house got damaged in Marina. I saw the video of the cars floating around.
Apparently the monument for the shark victim in Besant Nagar beach survived!. Though i am sure it has some damage nevertheless. I wonder what happened to my fav. eating place on the beach. Since i lived closer to besant nagar i used to go there more often.

By the way Annie Besant park apparently got flooded.. but i havent got confirmation.

That was a terrible tragedy and one that just keeps getting worse.  Truly a planetary disaster.

We watched "The Borne Supremacy" yesterday, and I couldn't help but think while watching the scenes set in Goa, India if the buildings and people you see still exist.
Title: Goa...

Well India - South India has 2 coasts ... Goa, Bombay etc are on the west coast ... where nothing happened as a result of this tsunami ... east coast has Madras (yea I am an east coaster, so I fit in well in NC - Not ) and other cities like Vizag etc ... That beach front sardar shop Manjul ... I was wondering about that as well ... That dude was cool ... They'd stay open till like 2-3 am and bring food to the beach ... sweet ...
Cool.
