Title: i think i might have broken my tank mounted petcock
Post by: se7enty7 on January 05, 2005, 12:39:07 AM
I think turned it the wrong way to turn it off....

anywho..  The fuel lines.. any air in them should be push out if the frame petcock is set to prime right? or does the bike need to be started to push out the air in the lines?   there's air in the lines that isn't getting pushed out... gas goes down to my inline fuel filters but not past them... hmm.. maybe they are too dirty

poor bike.

it was late last night... got up this morning and started her, and the gas seems to flow just fine...

i just want to ride this damn motorcycle so bad.  it's a beautiful 67 degrees and I'm stuck driving my car

if you look at my 'dynojet help thread' you'll see that my problem with these DJ carbs still exist... severe low rpm bogging.  It will die if you hit the throttle under 3k rpm... so starting out from a stop involves revving the engine above 4k or so and slipping the clutch..  and I don't want to buy/replace my clutch so I'm not riding
