Title: GS500E Rebuild Help required
Post by: Freddy on January 06, 2005, 02:13:35 PM
Hi Everyone,

I am a newby to this forum, and would like some assistence if possible.
I have just completed rebuilding a GS500E 1995, I am not sure how the fuel/breather hoses are connected up, can some kind gent/lady help out an old biker, a diagram would be nice but an explanation would be good as well.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Fred

Start with this Fuel Hose Routing (http://www.bbburma.net/FuelHoseRouting.htm) page.

If you still have questions, ask away!

Hi Kerry,

Thanks for that, one of the tubes has a closed end, a sort of V shape, is this the gas overflow/water drain tube?

That's a fairly thick tube, yes?  It should be attached to the bottom of the airbox.
