My Katana 600 shock just came in!! It looks like it's in perfect condition. So everbody knows what I'm going to be doing this weekend. I'll let you all know how it goes.
chooo chooooo.
woot woot
Just installed the shock. Much to my and my dads suprisment, the rear wheel doesn't touch the ground when its on the centerstand. I haven't rode it yet because it rained all night so its pretty wet. But hey it's installed so thats always good. I'll post a new thread once I go on a real ride to test them out. Thanks everybody for the help.
Congrats on the install! :thumb:
I hope for your sake that you didn't leave A Wrench In The Works.... (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7501) like richard and I did.
Nope, I looked it over just to make sure we didn't. The whole process took about an hour, and that was because we didn't know that lil cap on the frame was to get to the top bolt of the shock.
Were you surprised that the cap turned out to be plastic? From just looking at it I always assumed it was metal.
Thanks for having at least one thing go "wrong". Now I feel better. :)
Haha. That wasn't the only thing. Them bolts seemed like they were tightened by Hercules, or maybe the Hulk .. whichever one is bigger. We also lost one of the bolts that holds the spring in just to find it layin in a wratcet set.
