Title: Turn signal bulb
Post by: stefman722 on January 06, 2005, 08:27:04 PM
hey gurus,

I need to know what kind of bulb the turn signal is. I.E: 1157, 1156..etc... as i want to replace with LED bulb. Thanks guys.

Stefan.

p.s: if you dont know, and dont mind doing me a favour, can you go look on your bike for me? I would look myself, but suzuki dealers had it for about 4 months now, doing some work on it. Thanks

supposidly, 1057 is the same as 1157. Does anyone know if this is true? I got that information off a website. What i am looking into getting is LED bulbs for the turnsignals. I just want to replace the stock bulbs, and get LEDs in exchange. So if anyone has information, or succesfully got LEDs for their turn signals, please reply. Thanks.

The 1157 is a dual filament bulb, not the same as the 1057 which is single filament.

I don't know about the LED sub. situation.

Yes the 1156 will work.  It is hotter, 26.9 watts, but not as bright as the 1057. According to Don's bulbs
