i knew it! ebay is root of all evil...i love ebay
that's a pretty crazy story...
i was bored and thought is that "Motorcycle parking petition...NYC" thread some how related to this story?
I posted an ad on Craigslist in Portland saying that I wanted GSXR front end parts and this guy calls me and asks me what parts I need. Then he's like "Well... I can get you the front end off a GSXR but I can't be sure of what year it is and it might take a little while..." I was like "How long?" and he was like "Awwww....well sometimes it takes a few days, sometimes it takes a couple weeks."
I bet a good portion of the bike parts on ebay are hot...especially the complete front ends, complete motors, etc...lazy crooks can't even break 'em down into individual components.... :guns:
Don't flatter yourselves. This does not apply to us.
The city is full of "RUBS" (rich urban bikers) so I never worry
about my GS being stolen. That's why I take my GS into Manhattan and not my "expensive" DL650.

you're right...gs is worth shi@t...
:( Gee dose'nt that make you warm and tingly, owning a bike that no one in there right mind would steel,What's that say about us then, we payed hard earned cash for them :o

I love my GS and if someone does not want to steal a GS they just don't know a cool bike when they see it. 8) I guess riding a GS is what it takes.
To anyone that wants to steal my GS I say to you.....BRING IT ON FUCKER! :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:
