Title: I'm Back!
Post by: mwdbruno on January 10, 2005, 11:17:52 AM
Hey all!
After a brief break, I have returned.
I did move to Missouri from the CA Bay Area and have bought a house.  The GS made the trip across the US undamaged.
I've managed to get thge GS out a couple of times, when the weather has allowed.  I do miss the CA riding weather.
I look forward to reconnecting with the board.
Take care and stay safe!

Lane

Why did you move to Branson? I use to live there, hope you have a good job, it's hard to keep employment after Christmas unitl around March.

Good Luck and welcome back to the board.

Oh yea, I'm about three hours south of you in Arkansas, my sister and her husband still live in Hollister, maybe when I come up to see her we could go for a ride. Some great twisties up there.

Absolutely look me up when you are in the area.  My house is off of 86 and I've already been in and around the twisties of it.  Good fun.
I moved to the area for a job opportunity with a restaurant/nightclub.  Being from around here you might be familiar with the building, the old Crockey's at 65 and 165 south of Hollister.  Well htre business isn't going completly as planned and I'm in the process of job hunting now for temp work until I get back to police work (my true passion).  I have a real good lead with Hollister Police, should be working with them full time no later than March.

Thanks for the welcome back Pablo.  It really sucks the opportunity I moved for didn't work out, but I"m not regretting anything.  Still enjoying that RR I assume??

And I still am as I have been for as long as I can remember a Bears fan (I can hear the ribbing already  :) )

Glad to see you return.  Why Mo?  Family there?

Indirectly family helped make the decision to move to MO.  I hail from central Illinois and have family, including my son, there.  Nice to be a 6 hour drive (or ride!) from them.  Of course the move put my girlfriend away from her family which are still in CA.  The job was the drive for the move and the lovely weather  :dunno:    :dunno:
