Post by: dolepineapple on January 12, 2005, 10:03:02 PM
nothing special,

new pics at my site. . .

i realized after looking at my webpage that the wires for the front right turn signal is sticking out. . .damnit, i'll fix that tomorrow

don't mind the lack of mirrors,
i've decided to put them back on when i find a replacement right mirror, or a new set of mirrors (off a gsxr, i think). . .

enjoy everyone. . .

it was all right at first. . .

then it starts to peel of the 'uncleanly' and you start to freak out. . .
and as you go on, you realize that it's gonna leave a lot of crap behind and look really stupid. . .

thanks to some miracle item called 'goo-gone' that you can pick up at any canadian tire. . .it made the job a lot less nerve wrecking cause it'll clean off all of the crap that you couldn't get off right the first time . . .

it was all good in the end. . .

cheers,
joel

well from safety standpoint its prob not a good idear.  but the rest of it is reflective housing and a lens.  if u painted the housing it wouldnt function very well...  btw im in love w/ that civic.  i want more pics... does it have city lights?

i dont knw about katanas too much but everything i read about them was bad.  slow i heard...

u know how there are 3 positions for ur headlights?  off, marker, and headlights..  well when u have it on the marker position it also turns on the city lights, dim little lights in the headlight houseing that light up the housing but doesnt emit light onto the road..  american cars dont have it.  in fact its supposedly illegal in my state.  the purpose for these city lights are pretty cool infact!  in japan (and other countries i presume), they turn off their headlights at night while in the city so as to not blind other drivers.  the city street lights are bright enough to illuminate the road so u dont really need headlights!  have u ever pulled onto the road at nite, in the city, and forgot to turn on ur headlights?  i do it all the time cause i dont notice :)

i guess he doesn't have city lights. . .
cause he always turns on his headlights when he's driving at night. . .

but that's pretty cool how japan has that. . .
